When Ali founded Buckingham Montessori in 2014, he understood one fundamental thing. To create an exceptional nursery, it is not the building or the facilities alone. It is the people.
Ali set out to build a team of dedicated, qualified childcare professionals who all share one vision. Give every child a safe, enriching, and joyful start in life. That vision attracted people like Jasmine, Nazy, and Jalpa. Each one brings over a decade of experience and a genuine passion for early years education.
Today, Buckingham Montessori is a nursery in the heart of Edgware. A team of 30+ qualified staff caring for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Learning, playing, and growing through the Montessori method and the EYFS framework.

The Montessori Method
Children learn through hands-on discovery at their own pace. They choose their own activities from carefully prepared environments, building independence, concentration, and a lifelong love of learning.
The EYFS Framework
The Early Years Foundation Stage ensures every child meets key developmental milestones across seven areas of learning. From communication and language to physical development and understanding the world.

A Decade of Little Explorers
It Begins
Buckingham Montessori opens its doors at 19-25 Buckingham Road, Edgware. Ali Alkateb founds the nursery on a simple promise. Every child gets a safe, joyful, enriching start.
Growing Up
Specialist rooms developed including the Sensory Room and Studio Room. Qualified Montessori and EYFS practitioners join the team.
A New Branch
Our second branch opens at Preston Road, expanding our reach across North London.
10+ Years In
Daily yoga, on-site cooking, and Parentzone digital communication introduced. Team grows to 30+ qualified staff.

Ali founded Buckingham Montessori in 2014 with a simple vision. A community-focused nursery where children feel safe and parents feel confident. He has led the team for over a decade with strategic thinking and uncompromising standards.

Nazy brings 18 years of early years education experience to her role as Manager. Her passion is helping every child and staff member reach their full potential in a safe, nurturing environment where everyone thrives.
18+ years in early yearsJasmine
Jasmine works alongside the leadership team as a consultant, guiding decisions with over a decade of EYFS and child development expertise. Every decision she makes is guided by a commitment to each child's wellbeing, safety, and growth.

Jalpa's nurturing approach makes every child and parent feel welcome from day one. With over 12 years of experience, she is known for building strong relationships with families and creating an environment where children feel safe and cared for.
